Online Individual & Family Security Lessons
Core² Computing is proud to announce online computer security lessons for families and individuals. These lessons will focus on the Internet today, what it does for us, and how we can better protect ourselves while using the Internet to prevent loss or disaster to ourselves, our families and our friends.
This Instructional program is available in two different classes, one for individuals and one for families, as described below.
Safe Surfing (Individual Package)
This course consists of how to protect yourself online.
It consists of 3, 1 hour lessons.
Format: 45 minute lessons, 15 minute question period.
Total Cost: $80 per individual for entire course.
(An individual constitutes 1 person)
Family Protection (Family Package)
This course consists of protecting yourself against online fraud,
as well as how to protect your kids online today.
It consists of 7, 1/2 hour lessons.
Format: 25 minute lessons + 5 minute question period.
Total Cost: $140 per family for entire course.
(A family constitutes up to 2 adults and up to 3 children)
These programs are scheduled Tuesday and Thursday nights, all year around. Lessons begin promptly at 7pm. Family classes will end at 7:30 promptly, and individual classes will end at 8:15pm due to a 15 minute break interval during the lesson.
We're not looking to instill fear by any means, but the reality of the internet today is such that it can be a dangerous place if one is not properly protected. If you have any questions about online safety, then these programs are definitely for you. You probably wouldn't drive a car without insurance, why take the same risk online?
